Fresh, Locally Grown, Cut to Order Flowers
From a very young age, I developed a real love for plants, flowers and nature. After training as a florist, I soon realised how hard it was to find British sustainable flowers and how few people, at the time, were using eco-friendly growing techniques. This was the start of my growing journey at Flitterbrook – in 2020, I was fortunate enough to turn my dream into a reality, to become one of the first flower farms to be established in Sussex. I grow all my own flowers and foliage in rhythm with nature, using sustainable practices for both the growing and my floristry work.
Our flowers are grown according to the seasons. Every single stem that I grow is nurtured to create a range of joyful blooms. With long-term sustainability at the heart of every decision, our flowers are hand-picked to order, reducing the risk of waste. I work incredibly hard to provide you with the best quality British flowers in the business. With beautiful, unusual varieties – there is something for every flower lover on our farm.
Sustainable Flowers Grown In Harmony With Nature
Chemical Free
The mass-produced flower industry relies heavily on the use of chemicals such as fertilisers and pesticides. These are detrimental to our health, the environment and to wildlife. We pride ourselves in growing our flowers without the use of chemicals.
Low-zero Food Miles
All our flowers and foliage are freshly picked from our farm and arranged in my studio so we have zero food miles. We do sell a small selection of bouquets locally and we deliver locally within a 5 mile radius.
No Air Miles
Most mass-produced flowers are flown across the world to the UK resulting in a large carbon footprint. As all our flowers are grown here on the farm in Sussex there are no air miles.
Plastic Free Packaging
All our flowers are supplied without plastic packaging. Any packaging we use is 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
Rewilding
I leave areas of the farm to rewild, attracting pollinators and insects as well as other wildlife.
Stunning Seasonal Flowers For Any Occasion
We supply our seasonal flowers to both wholesale for florists and direct to the public. We offer sustainable flowers for weddings, funerals, gift bouquets for any occasion as well as DIY buckets. We also run events, workshops and PYO days.
